Ikeja, Lagos November
27, 2014 – the Association of Music Artistes Managers of Nigeria (AMAMN) congratulates
the nation and all stakeholders on Nigeria being declared ebola free and also
urges all artistes to help in sensitizing the populace to be vigilant still and
hygiene conscious.
The President,
executives and members of the Association of Music Artistes Managers of Nigeria
(AMAMN) wish to convey their joy and commendation to the Federal Government,
Lagos State Government and the Nigerian people as a whole as Nigeria attained
the status of an ebola-free nation on Monday October 20, 2014. While we ought
to be proud of what we have achieved as a nation, we implore everyone to put
all hands on deck to ensure that we continue the mass campaign on personal
hygiene and health safety. We ask all artistes to please use their skills to
further spread the message of good health practice, not forgetting to preach
togetherness and team work as these have been the hallmark of our nation’s
successful fight against the dreaded disease. Once more, we ask everyone to
borrow a leaf from this experience and realize the benefits and success of our
efforts when we work together as one, Nigerians, with brotherly love towards
each other. We commend the selfless sacrifice and service of Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh
and numerous health workers who have continued to uphold the integrity of their
profession and the unity of this nation. God bless Nigeria, unity and faith,
peace and progress.
