AMAMN PLANS SECOND SEMINAR FOR MEMBERS TAGGED “ABC OF ARTISTE MANAGEMENT 2".

Pub 1, 1 Adekunle Fajuyi Street Ikeja GRA will play host to a multitude of recognised, practising and fresh artiste managers on Tuesday, 29th of November, 2016, as the Association of Music Artiste Managers of Nigeria continues with the training series of its members. The aim is not only to guide and direct upcoming artiste managers, but also to share ideas, challenges and solution so that the profession of artiste management is improved and better practised.

The series Titled “The ABC of Artiste Management”, had the last one held in July 19, 2016. Speakers Billed for this edition of the seminar include Mr. Chinedu Chukwuji, MD/CEO of COSON, who will take the audience on “Intellectual Property, Royalty and Piracy: The Dos and Don’ts” as a foremost intellectual property expert. Mr. Michael Ugwu, West African Head, Sony Music Entertainment Africa will let us know how “Branding and Artiste for a Label’ should be done, while Mr. Pretty Okafor, President of PMAN will speak on “The Artiste/Manager Relationship: How to Make It work”. Mr. Lanre “ElDee” Dabiri, Founder of Play Data will cap it up with a training session on ”Music Tracking & Internet Marketing” via a skype conference from the USA.


Lastly, membership certificate and Identity cards will be given to members who have completed their registration process. The Association wishes to bring to the notice of the public the need to engage qualified and trained Artiste Managers, as only professionals can ensure value for the funds invested by clients and the public in engaging the services of an Artiste.
