On
Friday, May 26, 207, at Green Field Soccer,
Artistes versus their Managers, had a Charity Football Match, geared towards
raising awareness for the Motherless Babies Home in Lekki. Based on a fame
Helen Keller quote that "When we do
the best that we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life, or in
the life of another" , members decided to come out to support the
cause and have fun on the pitch.
It
was a revelation, as some potential football stars were discovered! Maybe we
should get into talks with some clubs? The match ended 4 - 3 with the Reds
winning the Yellows (We won’t say which side was for the managers and which was for the
artistes, it’s classified!)
Our heartfelt thanks to all managers and artistes that supported and
donated towards the cause, we truly are grateful.
